Kiln House dates back to 1846, a beautifully presented holiday cottage close to Aldeburgh and the Suffolk coast. The property has been furnished to a high standard, perfect for anyone looking to enjoy all that the Maltings and the surrounding area has to offer. The stylish accommodation is laid out over three floors with a delightful sitting room with a couple of sofas and brick feature fireplace. This room leads through to the dining room, with a table and chairs and an ercol sideboard. The kitchen is well fitted and there’s also a separate study on the ground floor. Upstairs, there’s a single bedroom and bathroom on the first floor and a further two bedrooms on the second floor, both with ensuite shower rooms.

This really is a fabulous property, perfect for five guests. The location is great too… Snape Maltings is home to some fabulous shops, cafes and restaurants and the renowned annual music festival which is held in June… all on the doorstep!

If you can tear yourself away from the Maltings, take in the sea air with a stroll along the Sailor’s Path which follows the River Alde to the Suffolk coast at Aldeburgh.

Snape Maltings is home to the world famous Aldeburgh Music. The Concert Hall is an international venue for outstanding music performances, a place where top musicians and emerging musical talents come together. In 1965 after 120 years, the malting of barley ceased and a new era began with the gradual conversion of the Victorian buildings. There are several shops and galleries, from the classic to the contemporary, a huge variety of goods are on offer, including fine foods, furniture, art, and children's toys. The river trips and guided walks along the picturesque Alde Estuary are rich in both wildlife and history. There is a fortnightly Farmer's Market as well as other activities throughout the year.
