Description

This spacious and comfortable two-storey property in a charming Suffolk coastal village is ideal for a group of friends or family seeking a seaside getaway. The village of Walberswick benefits from a great selection of amenities as well as a delightful sandy beach (0.5 miles). If you head across the River Blyth, you’ll reach the popular town of Southwold (2 miles), which offers another beautiful beach and plenty of attractions including a museum, golf club and a pier.

Step in through the porch to reach the entrance hall where you can hang your jacket and take off your shoes. Just off from the hall is a separate WC. Continue through the hallway and you’ll find yourself in the kitchen. This space is bright and airy with pops of colour. In the centre of the room is a breakfast bar on a kitchen island, where you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee. Take advantage of the sizeable American-style fridge/freezer with an automatic icemaker and a chilled water dispenser. The kitchen opens up into a dining area with an impressive, vaulted ceiling with an extendable glass dining table and chairs to seat eight. This sits beside the glass, bi-fold doors which open up onto the patio. Continue into the sitting area, which is a large, open space with four sofas, two chairs and a Smart TV. This room also has doors which lead out onto the garden. In the evenings, light the wood burner and play a competitive game with your guests in front of the crackling fire. The ground floor also benefits from the garden room, which is glazed on two sides and has a lantern roof. This is an elegant and sophisticated space with two sofas and delightful views of the garden. Climb the timber and steel open-tread stairs to reach the first floor which is laid with polished oak. When you reach the top, you can gaze over the landing from the mezzanine. On this floor is the master bedroom – a relaxing space with a vaulted ceiling, an en-suite and a king-size bed with an opulent 1,400-pocket sprung mattress. Wake up in the morning and switch on the TV as a relaxing way to start your day. Also on this floor is a king-size bedroom and a twin bedroom, each with a TV and an en-suite. Finally, there is a laundry room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and a drying rail.

Bringing your own car, the property benefits from 4 off road parking spaces, as well as an EV charger and secure bike store for up to six bikes.

Outside, there is a spacious garden with a lawned area and a patio. Here, you can find an array of comfortable outdoor seating. Fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco on the table and chairs beneath the parasol. Or, relax on the wicker corner settee with a good book and a glass of wine.

The property has a strict NO PET policy. Thank you.

Reviews

Very happy with our choice of Troy Two. Property was spacious and very well equipped. Beds were comfortable and showers worked well. Even though we didn't do a lot of cooking while we were there, the kitchen had everything you could need. Huge amount of information in the house on local tourist opportunities. The Anchor Pub is a 10 minute walk and well recommended. You can walk into Southwold in around 35 minutes just follow Palmers Lane.

Mr R,

Our second visit to Troy 2 speaks for itself, spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable, hope to return once again.

Mr Trevor H,

This property was outstanding in every way. We would have no hesitation in booking it again should we wish to return to the area and recommending it to others.

Mrs H,

Love Troy Two.

Mrs Jennifer I,

Troy Two was very comfortable, well equipped and we had plenty of space AND in a very good location for accessibility to the Heath towards Southwold and also to Dunwich.

Mrs Sheila G,

An excellent property in a very convenient situation. Very well equipped and very comfortable. We will definitely visit again.

Mrs M,

Excellent - everything we wanted and more.

The 6 Q,

A wonderful house that gave us everything that we wanted and more! Superb location for visiting Sutton Hoo, Woodbridge, Minsmere, Dunwich, Thorpeness, Aldeburgh, Snape Maltings, and Framlingham. You can walk to Southwold in 30 minutes. The two pubs in the village of Walberswick are excellent and easily accessible on foot from the house.

Mr S,

A fabulous house. We spent a very happy new year here. Very well equipped and every comfort was catered for. Great area for walking and two lovely pubs within walking distance. Thank you.
