Reviews

A lovely cottage in a splendid setting with views and sunsets almost beyond description. To wake up to birds on the marshes outside the bedroom windows will linger long in the memory.

Mr D,

Our Second visit to such a delightful cottage with fantastic views, so comfortable and well equipped. The lovely welcome bag was such a surprise and a real treat - thank you Suffolk Secrets. The cottage was a perfect retreat for a multi-generational family holiday. The owners have thought of everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed the peach and quiet of 4 Blackshore, the delights of Southwold and can highly recommend the butchers, the Two Magpies, and of course The Sole Bay fish and chips, who are still able to do delicious takeaway F & C despite the devastating fire in early may at the Harbour Restaurant. A big thank you to the owners of 4 Blackshore for sharing their beautiful, cosy holiday retreat with us - we hope to return again..............

Past Customer,

We had a fantastic stay at 4 Blackshore, very comfortable, clean cottage - especially suited for a family break of 3 generations. A truly delightful part of Southwold. The lovely welcome pack was much appreciated, a real treat. A big thank you to the owners for sharing their holiday cottage and to the cleaner(s) for keeping the place so clean.

Mrs Sarah C,

The property was absolutely beautiful, and had everything we needed for our stay. Clear instructions in a folder on the property and the views were amazing. very cosy. However the lady we took had slight mobility issues and on the whole could naviagte around the cottage, but my only advice is to make the step from the Kitchen to the living room more noticeable as she fell and broke her collar bone. She said it was because the flooring all looked the same and she couldnt see the step. But on the whole a wonderful place. thank you

Mrs Sarah A,

We have had the most wonderful holiday staying at 4 Blackshore. Great location and views. The cottage is really well equipped and comfortable. Our welcome pack was super - some real treats in there. The regular contact from Secret Suffolk was really good and helpful to us too.
