It attracts surfers all year round with the RNLI there from May until September, through the Easter weekend and October half term. There are rock pools to explores at either end of the beach full of hidden gems for adventurous children. Baggy Point is the headland at the top end of the beach, which is owned by The National Trust. This whole area is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) for its geology. Croyde village has a number of cafes, restaurants and pubs and there are wet suits, surf boards, canoes and fishing equipment available to hire. Reviews

The location was very good being close to the beach and local amenities, however the noise let it down. Opposite a very noisy pub and on a busy road. There was also a festival on when we got there which was extremely noisy! It may be better to be warned as I thought the property was in a side street. There was a bit of an issue with dust but not excessive.
