Description

This modern 3rd floor apartment within the gated Marina Villas development, offers very comfortable accommodation for 2 people. The balcony, lounge and bedroom offer views across The Marina gate towards the docks and SA1. This apartment is perfect for short breaks, city breaks or full-length holidays.

Within easy walking distance is the seafront promenade, which stretches for 5 miles towards Mumbles Head, whilst the Marina and all the attractions of Swansea are right on your doorstep.

The popular Coast Cafe is within the block and offers a modern, vibrant atmosphere to enjoy your latte or meal.

Accommodation

Third Floor

Reception: 2-seat leather sofa and a leather easy chair, flatscreen Smart TV with BT Vision and DVD player. The lounge also has access to the terrace.

Dining Area: Glass dining table and 4 chairs.

Kitchen: Integrated appliances including a washer/dryer, oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer. There is also a Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee machine.

Bedroom: Double bed and wardrobes with views across the river and a flatscreen TV.

Bathroom: Bath with shower over, heated towel rail, basin and WC. 

External: Balcony with furniture and an allocated parking space.

Note: There is a lift at this property.

It was a beautiful apartment overlooking the sea lock on the river. Upstairs from a cafe and 50m from a brewery (the beer was not to my taste). Exceptionally well appointed and very warm. Probably the best we have stayed at.

The property was lovely and in an interesting location. However, be aware that you have to travel 5 miles extra to pick up the keys. Also the property is next to a busy lock out to sea which made warning noises when it opened and closed. (beep-beep beep-beep) Some might find this irritating but we didn't mind - it added to the atmosphere and interest of the coastal position.

The property was great but no mention when booking of key collection. It took 1hr 40 minutes round trip on Friday to pick up the key from Mumbles because of the Friday afternoon traffic. Not good when already been driving for 3 and half hours. It took over an hour to drop the key off. It is a ridiculous arrangement. Most properties have a key safe or somewhere near by to collect the key from. This is not nearby and Home from Home were completely inflexible. Because of this I will not be booking any of your properties again.

Perfect location. Only drawback was the key collection and return arrangements - a central Swansea location would have saved the busy journey into Mumbles to the office.

there were.a couple of downsides. First therecycling instructions weren't thatclear and there was nothing for food waste to be collected in (as far as we could see). Also the property was very warm (we turned all the heaters off but it was still too hot and we even had to open the balcony door. that said, the location was really good and the apartment was, in general very well equipped. Good level of equipment in the bathroom and loved all the hooks to hang outdoor clothes,

I love this property as I have stayed here a few times. I cook a lot and unfortunately there is hardly any cooking equipment there at all any more. A baking tray would have been nice. Not a huge problem as next time I will bring my own. It’s lovely and warm there too, don’t even need to put the heating on. Lovely feeling in the property. The sofa is becoming a little uncomfortable to sit on now, apart from sliding off it all the time it’s started to sink. Still love it there tho. Location is great for me, loads of walks on your doorstep and a great coffee shop next door.

Well equipped apartment with secure parking, great location and reliable WiFi - I worked a few days during my stay so this was important for me. Apartment was on third floor with lovely views over the marina and the lock just outside so it was nice to watch the boats going in and out. I'd definitely stay again.
