Description

Think coastal charm, water views and the beach nearby… Harbour Cottage ticks all the boxes for a self catering holiday in Southwold!

Harbour Cottage is beautiful! Relax in front of the wood burning stove on the cooler evenings and dine alfresco in the front garden overlooking the water on sunny summer days. This is a property for all seasons. The four cottage style bedrooms are delightful with pretty bedding and curtains… we love the room at the top with its white boarded ceiling and arched window. The sitting room has a couple of comfortable sofas and a dining table with seating. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, washer dryer and a kitchen table with pew style seating.

Harbour Cottage is in a great location with views across to Walberswick and Southwold is about a 15 minute walk away. Southwold is a traditional coastal town famous for its pier, lighthouse, pastel coloured beach huts and fabulously fresh seafood! The town has some excellent independent shops, cafes and restaurants, be sure to call in for a pint of the acclaimed Adnams beer in one of the popular pubs.

This is the perfect bolthole for families and friends looking for a seaside holiday in Suffolk. The views are wonderful and the seafront easily accessible… a unique coastal bolthole!

Reviews

Lovely cottage in a fantastic location with views of the harbour & Southwold. Great base for walks & fab pub a very short walk away!

Miss P,

Loved it. Great location with lovely views back and front.

Mr A,

We loved the location of this property with its excellent views of the harbour and all the interesting comings and goings of the boats. The property itself is a good space and has a cosy charm with lots of books and a couple of pairs of binoculars left for us to enjoy. We would definitely recommend it and look forward to a return visit to this lovely part of the world.

Mr K,

This beautiful cottage is ideally situated in a quiet location with panoramic views from every angle. It is well equipped, a real homely feel. Ideal for friends, family, old and young alike. The town with an array of shops is a five minute drive away, or enjoy the 15-20 minute walk along the coastline to the pier and shops with different eateries to choose from. We hope to visit again.

Ms H,

Booked for a short stay with the family, perfect location for the Grandchildren with the beach a short walk away. Loved the view onto the river and nice and close to Walberswick for crabbing with a walk across tbe footbridge or a short ferry ride.

Mr D,

What a lovely place... great walks nearby, a wonderful pub next door with really good fish on the menu, a warm fireplace to sit round, very comfortable beds, everything you could need for a special stay... we will be going back!... many thanks
