Description

Harford Barn has been finished to a high standard throughout and is a beautiful well appointed cottage with flexible accommodation to suit both couples and families. It is close to the ever popular Tarka Trail that follows the route of Tarka the Otter from Henry Williamson's famous novel. These walks are ideal for experienced and fit walkers or cyclists as well as those who enjoy a slower pace exploring the coast and countryside in this stunning corner of Devon. The property has a delightful open plan living room with patio doors opening out to a sizeable enclosed sun trap courtyard – perfect for relaxation or outside dining. A fully equipped kitchen features an attractive dining table, which overlooks the courtyard. Two bedrooms on the first floor have appealing country views and both share a shower room.  A third bedroom on the ground floor has its own en suite. Located within the grounds of the owner's own home the property is just a 15 minute walk from the delightful village of Landkey with its village pub and stores and Portmore Golf Club with its choice of 9 and 18 holes courses is just few minutes drive down the road. Harford Barn is a great location for exploring the whole of the North Devon area with a choice of beaches and the splendour of Exmoor all within a 20 minute drive.
