On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen which has everything supplied for creating a delicious meal for your party. A large dining room with long dining table and chairs is the perfect place for socialising with your guests over your home cooked feast. For relaxation there’s a choice of two seating areas - one complete with a warming open fire and the other great for relaxing in front of with a good movie. On the upper floors there are seven guest bedrooms and four bathrooms which are all decorated to a high quality, with many bedrooms boasting fantastic views across to the sea and the River Alde. Outside is a generously sized front garden mainly laid to lawn, a rarity in such a sought-after coastal town!

Aldeburgh and the surrounding area has inspired many authors and poets in the past but the most famous son of the town is Benjamin Britten who founded the Aldeburgh Music Festival which now has worldwide acclaim and is held every year in June at Snape Maltings. Fishermen still pull their colourful boats up on the shingle beach and sell fresh fish from the picturesque huts. The wide, mainly Georgian high street has many attractive buildings whilst the seafront properties all have commanding views of the beach and the North Sea. Boating is popular on the nearby Alde estuary where a large variety of yachts can be seen at summer weekends.
