Garden Cottage is a beautiful former barn set within the original courtyard of the farm. It's since been beautifully converted into a cottage combining original features with all the modern day requirements necessary for modern day living. The front door opens into a very useful area for shoes and coats to be stored. You then move through to the living room with it's wonderful wood burner, wooden beamed ceiling and large double doors opening on to the rear garden.

From the living room you can access the fully equipped modern cottage kitchen with the dining table to seat four. The stairs to the bedrooms and family bathroom lead up from the corner of the living room, opening on to the landing where you will find the family bathroom with a shower over the bath. The master bedroom has a king size bed with an en-suite shower room. The window overlooks the fish pond looking down towards the tennis court. The twin bedroom has two 3 foot single beds.

Guests have access to the shared tennis court in the complex, listed in The Telegraph as one of the top ten most beautiful tennis courts in Britain! You can also take a stroll around the well manicured gardens. Garden Cottage is off the central courtyard area of the Higher Bowden complex, a small complex of holiday cottages.

Garden Cottage is less than 5 miles from Dartmouth in the beautiful South Hams. The cottage is exactly 1 mile away from Blackpool Sands Beach, listed in 2013 as the Daily Mail's number one beach in Britain. If you are looking for a lively, loud holiday, this probably isn't the choice for you in Devon, however if you're seeking a quality property, which is great for outdoor space, chic coastal resorts, fabulous beaches, and peace and tranquillity whilst at 'home', then get in touch.

Getting Around
You have a reserved parking space whilst staying at the cottage.

Reached by quiet back lanes, it spreads over a hillside with distant views of the sea from its upper levels. Immaculate Blackpool Sands, one of Devon's loveliest beaches, is a mile away.

The six and a half acres of beautifully kept gardens & large pond filled with gold fish really does take your breath away when you open the lounge doors and walk out onto the small patio and small private garden. There is also a floodlit tennis court which is a real feature for families who enjoy friendly competition and ball sports.

There are 13 cottages which form two clusters around a pair of 17th-century farmhouses. Those in the lower cluster have more privacy outside where Garden Cottage is located.

Not far away is Woodlands, the largest family theme park in the South West where there is something for everyone to have a fun packed day out!

Security deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200, which is payable to Original Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.
