Woodbridge is a historic town of great character situated on the River Deben. Its charm lies in the many narrow picturesque streets of fine houses and cottages, the river, a popular marina, the busy boatyards, the famous Tide Mill, the ancient buildings around the Market Hill and the fine Church. Woodbridge has an interesting shopping centre, with many specialist shops, good restaurants and pubs, together with art galleries, antique shops, town museum, Suffolk Horse museum, an excellent cinema/theatre, large recreation areas and an indoor heated swimming pool.

A lovely, well equipped property that we found to be very comfortable. Situated on a main road we were very surprised at the lack of outside road noise and how quiet the house was. It is also situated very close to a beautiful river with lovely walks. Beverley, the owner, was very prompt and helpful when I had to ask a couple of questions. All in all we had a lovely holiday in a beautiful location and the house is a great place to relax after our days out.

Really nice clean quiet place to stay with dog, all hard flooring downstairs so no panic about dirty paws. Large sunny conservatory and totally secure garden, backs onto lovely park, excellent walks along the river, great meals at The Duke of York, dogs made very welcome in the pub and in lots of places around town.
