A charming 19th century Victorian cottage, located in the pretty seaside town of Hythe, Wainstones Cottage makes the ideal retreat for up to 5 guests to explore this lovely part of Kent. The cottage itself is just a stone’s throw from the main shopping street in this coastal market town, meaning you have ultimate ease for your stay. Hythe makes for a fantastic location with no shortage of things to do and places to see. You’ll have the coast on your doorstep, easy access to explore beautiful lush countryside and if history is more your thing, then there are numerous castles to discover.

Wainstones Cottage offers well-equipped accommodation for up to 5 guests. The cosy sitting room is a great space to relax in the evenings after a long day exploring. There is a separate dining space should you choose to eat in and a small yet practical kitchen ready for whipping up home-cooked meals. Upstairs, you’ll find two comfortable bedrooms which have been beautifully decorated and styled with Mini Modern retro wallpaper. Locally-designed prints from famous local Hythe and Folkestone artists feature in these rooms  – inspiring guests to explore the wonderful county of Kent. The master bedroom is host to a double bed and ample storage to stow away your belongings. Meanwhile, the second bedroom has twin beds with views of the rear courtyard and the church. Both bedrooms are equipped with TV and DVD player for those lazy mornings. Wainstones Cottage accepts two well-behaved dogs, so this makes for a staycation that the whole family can enjoy! What we love about this property? It’s convenience and location are wonderful. Located in the street behind the main market high street, it is easy to walk everywhere – from getting your shopping, to walks to the beach, or even fantastic walks along the canal!

FIRST FLOOR
Bedroom 1: Master bedroom at the front of the cottage. With double bed, large smart TV with Netflix and DVD player. Chest of draws and wardrobe to store your clothes and belongings.
Bedroom 2: Twin bedroom with two single beds, TV and DVD player. View of the back courtyard and the church.
Bathroom: Small but convenient bathroom with bath with overhead shower, WC and basin. Cupboard for toiletries.

Outside: small courtyard with seating for two. Ideal for breakfast or evening drink. Please note, the courtyard is not enclosed.
Heating: Gas central heating
Parking: Roadside parking in streets surrounding the property.
Pets: two well behaved dogs welcome, but not upstairs or on furniture please. A dog bowl is available at the property. Please note, courtyard is not enclosed.
Notes: Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all provided. Please bring your own beach towels. Please note, the fireplaces are feature fireplaces and are not for use. Thank you.
