Description

A modern, three-bed house that offers a fabulous base for adult couples, friends or a family alike. Situated in the quiet village of Reydon, this family-friendly property is just outside Southwold so ideal for exploring that seaside town and the wider Suffolk coastline. Southwold offers a plethora of independent shops, art galleries, pubs and wonderful fish and chips. It’s 1.5 miles away so you can drive, walk or even take the bus if you want to forget about the car. Take a tour of the famous Adnams Brewery, based here, or just pick up quirky kitchen utensils or even fine wine in their shop. Admire the characterful beach huts as you stroll along the promenade overlooking the shingle beach and check out the restored pier, or head down to the harbour end for boats, shacks selling fresh, line-caught fish and seafood. If you’re there in summer, get the traditional rowboat foot ferry over to Walberswick for a mooch. RSPB Minsmere is 11.2 miles away as is National Trust’s Dunwich Heath and Beach for wildlife fans. There’s golf in Halesworth (9 miles) and Southwold. In Reydon, the house is opposite The Rec, ideal if little legs still have energy to burn!

Open-plan living accommodation comprises a bright and airy lounge with dining area all with attractive tile flooring, light wood furniture, leather sofas and a brick fireplace now housing a wood-burner effect electric fire. French doors lead to the patio and garden from the lounge. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a holiday storm if you don’t want to eat out every day and the table and chairs are ideal for breakfast or just some quiet time. The sleeping accommodation is all upstairs – pick from two double and one single bedrooms, however one double has an en-suite shower room for that extra touch of luxury! All three bedrooms are modern with calming decor in nautical tones and light wood furniture. Upstairs there’s a bathroom with a bath and WC, while there’s another shower room and WC on the ground floor.

This house benefits from a landscaped and fully enclosed south-facing private garden with a small lawn, and suntrap patio.
