The Old Penny Bank is a superb newly renovated stone-built character cottage, it has a prime location in the heart of the popular market town of Hawes, just a minute’s walk from the popular pubs, tea rooms and quirky shops.  This spacious, light and airy property benefits from a sunny patio and garden at the rear, this is ideal for dining al fresco and capturing the afternoon sun, you can hear the soothing sounds of the Hawes waterfall which is on the doorstep. Old Penny Bank provides very comfortable accommodation to sleep 4, with a large master bedroom, a second double bedroom, and a large sociable modern kitchen/diner well equipped with quality kitchen units and appliances. The property is furnished to a very high standard throughout, with underfloor heating, Quartz work surfaces, oak furniture, local artwork and quirkiness at every turn.  This is an ideal property from where to enjoy all that Hawes and the Yorkshire Dales has to offer.  The national park is on your doorstep as is the famous Wensleydale Creamery.

Parking: There is a free car park on the right-hand side of the property just before the bridge as you enter Hawes.  Further free parking is available on the cobbles outside the shops 50 yards away or there is a large pay and display car park opposite the children's play park behind the Rope Makers. It is £4.50 to park for 24 hours. 
Heating: Air source central heating. Woodburning stove in the lounge,which a starter pack of logs will be provided between October and March, electric woodburning effect fire in the kitchen.
Garden/Patio: Patio area and south facing garden to the rear of the cottage with garden furniture. Secure bike store. 
Short Breaks: Short breaks accepted all year round. 
Notes: Towels are provided, Unlimited WiFi is available free of charge. No smoking at this property. Mobile phone signal is variable. The front door of the property is on the roadside.

A lovely cottage in the heart of Hawes and is very well equipped, clean and comfortable so a perfect base for a Yorkshire holiday. Plenty of pubs, shops and the Chippie are all within walking distance for anything you need. And straight out of the front door there are plenty of walking routes in the picturesque dales. We’ll definitely be staying here again!!!
