Reviews

Lovely house, really well equipped. We had a great time here!

Dr P,

We had a lovely week the house is lovely and plenty of room for us all. Everything provided. Love Yorkshire, beautiful scenery. Sad to be going home. Thank you.

Kay and P,

We have so enjoyed our half term holiday in this cosy house full of character. The house had everything we needed and was within short distance to a range of great attractions. The stunning local scenery made this feel like a home away from home. Thank you!

Moloney family,

Fantastic weekend to celebrate Anne and Heather's birthday as well as Amy and Nat's engagement. Gorgeous house and surroundings, lovely company, great games. Thank you.

Previous Customer,

The only issue I have is that there was no information to advise that all the fields surrounding the cottage are private. There are no public footpaths anywhere near the cottage and this made is very difficult to take the dog for a walk and for my 83 year old father with dementia to go anywhere safely. The river at the bottom of the garden was advertised but we were told by a local farmer that we were not allowed in the river past the bridge ad so again had no access to walk anywhere close to the cottage which spoilt the experience. The photos on the website show surrounding countryside which makes you believe there are walks on the door step but this is not correct and should be made clear in the description / information. We booked the cottage because of the surrounding countryside and then found out we had to drive to find any kind of public footpath. This was super disappointing because I believed that once there we could leave the car and just spend time in the surrounding area but found myself constantly driving.

Miss Beverley S,

Beautiful house in a stunning setting. The games room was very popular with our teenage children. Lots of space for the family to spread out. Location is right in the middle of the dales with some charming local villages to visit. I would highly recommend.
