Description
Enjoying a superb position on the edge of the tiny village of Melmerby these two cottages are set in a quiet and peaceful position adjacent to the owners' former farmhouse with fantastic views over Coverdale. The cottages have been converted from old farm buildings and retain a great deal of the original character with a wealth of exposed beams and feature stonework. Comfortably furnished, each cottage has a small conservatory and a patio from which the views can really be appreciated.
When these cottages are booked together they provide comfortable accommodation for up to eight people. There is a large garden for children to play in, and a shared laundry room.
Melmerby itself is just over three miles from the traditional market town of Leyburn and is therefore an ideal base from which to explore the whole of the Yorkshire Dales. There are plenty of excellent walks from the cottages with open moors and country rambles available throughout Coverdale.

DS153 Field Cottage
