Situated amidst open countryside, this is one of four characterful properties each with its own parking and patio area in an ideal location for exploring the magnificent Three Peaks region of the Yorkshire Dales.  Within easy reach of Ingleton and having views of Ingleborough and Whernside, this is a marvellous base for anyone wishing to test their stamina by walking these high fells, cycling or touring the whole of this glacial valley and limestone dales.  Ingleton nestles in the foothills of Ingleborough on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales an area popular with walkers and climbers of all ages. 

Our local Village Low Bentham 1/2 mile away has 2 Pubs that serve excellent food and High Bentham 1 1/2 miles away has two small Supermarkets, good Pubs and Restaurants and Basic Banking facilities. Ingleton 4 miles away is famous for its Waterfalls & Caves and sits at the foot of Ingleborough Hill. The Cottages are also within easy reach of Morecambe Bay, the Lake District and Forest of Bowland. The "Three Peaks Challenge" of walking Ingleborough, Whernside & Pen Y Ghent is a popular thing to do and the Cottages are well placed for doing them.

Washing machine and dryer located in separate building close to the property. Mobile phone signal is strong.This property can be booked in conjunction with DS132, DS134 and DS135 to accommodate up to 20 people.  Pottery courses are available for beginners and experienced, bookable direct with the owner.

The village has dining and shopping facilities, and a popular climbing wall and ancient viaduct.  High and Low Bentham and Burton also have dining and shopping facilities. The spectacular Ingleton Falls can be reached alongside the river and Kirkby Lonsdale, the old market town of Settle and the Forest of Bowland are all within easy driving distance as well as the West Coast seaside resorts and the Lake District.
