Description

Part of a Grade II listed farmstead built in 1870, this cottage is situated in a beautiful valley close to the River Nidd and is surrounded by open countryside which forms part of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Comfortably and tastefully furnished and retaining many of its original features including exposed beams, the property provides excellent, personally supervised accommodation. Horse riding is available very close by, and fishing on a private stretch of the River Nidd is available. The nearby market town of Pateley Bridge has a range of shops and restaurants and the famous spa town of Harrogate is around 13 mile drive away.

Popetry details said all on one level but there are 2 steps into cottage. One of our party has mobility issues and found getting in and out a little difficult as there was no grab rail to hold onto. Otherwise the property was lovely.

Woodpecker Cottage was a Lovely comfortable and relaxing home from home. We had a wonderful holiday the property is very well maintained, and comfortable. It was quiet and peacefully relaxing. Jenny the host was very welcoming,friendly and helpful if needed. The area in and around Pateley Bridge is very beautiful with lots of places to visit. Would definitely recommend staying here.
