Mr B,

Location

Barden
Barden is a pretty farming hamlet situated 5 miles from the busy market town of Leyburn in Wensleydale.  Here you will find a good range of shops, pubs, restaurants and tearooms, and the weekly market is on Friday.  The nearby towns of Hawes, Richmond and Bedale are all within an easy drive. For some great days out, there are many excellent attractions in the area including the Wensleydale Railway, Leyburn Tea Pottery, the Forbidden Corner, and the waterfalls at Aysgarth Falls. For those who enjoy walking, the Leyburn Shawl is easily reached and provides excellent views of the Dales.
