Out and About: The village of Kingsdown is close by with three pubs offering food, the most popular being The Zetland Arms located right on the beach. A butchers/deli can be found in the village, together with a post office. The popular seaside town of Deal with its castle, pier, beautiful old quarter and many independent shops and restaurants is a delightful walk or cycle along the coastal path, which is right outside the front door.

Notes: Tandem bikes available for guests, please contact the owner before arrival to arrange access and refundable deposit. Second garage with automated remote control door for bike storage with access to the house. Travel cot and high chair. Stairgates will be fitted on request.  Hair dryers are provided in all bedrooms. House ipad for internet and smart system apps including Sonos sound system, heating and hot water controls.  This property requires a full week booking at Christmas. All planned events must be agreed in advance with the Homeowner directly.

We booked the house for a family weekend to celebrate a birthday - 4 generations ranging from 6 months to 90 years old! The house was very comfortable and really well equipped - something for everyone and plenty of room to spend time together. The location was wonderful too - lovely to look out across the sea and great for a brisk walk along the coast path to Walmer. Communication with the owner was really good too - very helpful and easy to contact if we needed anything. All in all, the perfect property for our family celebrations!
