Description

Crows Nest is a stunning, adult-only, single storey holiday home with its own Jacuzzi spa in a detached summerhouse and stunning garden overlooking the picturesque Exmoor hills. Located in the grounds of Marwood Farm along with four other similar high-quality properties, it has been built in an elevated position to provide a great deal of privacy and panoramic countryside views. Approached via a private driveway off an unmade, single-track lane, the entrance is through glazed doors set into floor-to-ceiling windows which, along with the high apex ceiling and velux windows, offers a bright and spacious open plan living space. The lounge/kitchen/diner has a comfortable leather settee and Smart television with DVD player and iPod docking station, a modern kitchen area with high-gloss white units and a dining table to enjoy home-cooked meals. A spacious bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite shower room complete the well-presented internal accommodation whilst outside there is a lovely gravelled patio area overlooking the surrounding countryside with solid wooden furniture. There are lovely walks available from Marwood Farm and the small town of Bampton is just three miles away with its choice of shops, pubs and restaurants. The property was very good everything you needed . The location was great, not far from the local village and good walks. Very relaxing, well equipped property. The owners were really good, a pleasure to stay, really enjoyable .

Mrs L,

Excellent location and the views are amazing. Lovely to be able to look out across the hills whilst relaxing in the hot tub. Property well equipped and very comfortable, although it would be helpful to have a few more mugs and glass tumblers. Wi-Fi a little hit and miss but to be expected given the location of the property.

Mr Adrian B,

The Crows Nest is situated in a lovely area with very pretty views and a good base for visiting different places. Very comfortable and clean property and the kitchen had everything you needed for your stay including spare cupboards to store food if eating in. Hot tub was a added bonus after a day out. Would stay again if we came back to the same area.

mr I B,

We loved Crows Nest, it’s a beautiful cottage, well equipped and the hot tub is excellent! All you can hear in the mornings are birds singing, pure bliss. Fantastic garden and views, we even managed to sit out in October. Great kitchen to cook meals as it had everything you needed, we would certainly return.
