Reviews

An excellent place to stay very comfortable in every way

Mrs J,

We were greeted with a lovely welcoming pack and as we were arriving in the dark the keys were left in the door which was very thoughtful. This cottage has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday very well located for Southwold, Minsmere, Auldburgh, Snape and all the local attractions. We had a very quiet and relaxed birthday break here just before Christmas. Best pub was Plough and Sail in Snape superb.

Previous Customer,

Lovely, spacious, very well equipped accommodation. Environmentally aware owners. Plenty of space and very comfortable. On arrival there was a home produced cream tea and flowers and we were made to feel very welcome! Thank you!

Ms M,

Property was well equipped, excellent facilities and good location. Eco friendly schemes evident. Enclosed garden and adjacent field, as well as local walks were excellent for the dogs

Previous Customer,

Very comfortable and well-equipped. Very pleasant and helpful hosts.

Mr John S,

I have scored the highest in all areas because that is how it really was. The welcome pack and essential was the icing on the cake.

Rev Ruth N,

Excellent cottage - ideal for dog owners with an enclosed garden and large field to run the dogs. Perfect location close to coast and within short distance of pubs/restaurants and shopping facilities. The owners provide a super welcome pack and flowers - and go the extra mile for their guests

Mr Colin P,

The property was amazing and could not be faulted. On a completely separate note, we found the numerous texts and emails from Suffolk Secrets (Original Cottages) regarding arrival and departure times quite wearing and negative in their content, giving no scope to even request a slightly earlier arrival time for example, bearing in mind a 4pm arrival time means fairly much unpacking the car in the dark.

Mrs Tracy S,

The house was wonderfully warm with lovely furniture and fittings, in a great location and with spacious grounds. The "welcome"pack was a lovely touch. Our only (very small) gripe was that it was clear that dog(s) had been previously due to dog hair..... Having said that,we would book again as we loved it!

Mrs Jill N,
