Description

Chapel cottage is a traditional grade two listed self catering cottage with lots of character. Tucked away off the road, and situated on a small lane with only a few other properties, this is the perfect base for a quiet Suffolk break. Ideally positioned with the market place and high street only a short walk away.
The decor is country cottage style with mainly wooden furniture. There is a traditional kitchen with table and chairs, pantry and a cosy wood burner. Leading from this, up two steps, is a light and airy sunroom overlooking the south facing garden which is a perfect spot to enjoy a good book during the summer months. The sitting room is a warm, carpeted area with a deep pile rug and an electric wood burner effect fire. The first floor has a double bedroom with decorative fireplace, a single room, both with ample storage, and the bathroom. Reviews

Lovely comfortable cottage in a central location which was convenient for us as we don't drive. We especially loved the garden room when the sun shone (which was not very often unfortunately!)

Mr F,

Chapel Cottage is a fantastic cottage in a fantastic location. It has its own personality and it never stopped to amaze and surprise us. We stayed for one week and every day we discovered something new. This cottage just keeps on giving. Comfortable, with a quirky old-worldly feel but fully equipped with everything you can wish for. A beautiful, dreamy, very quiet garden with a magnificent view of the church. To top it off, Halesworth is a beautiful little town with lovely shops and eateries aplenty. This must be the finest cottage we ever stayed in and we will definitely come back here. This kind of cottage is unique, special and precious, and is one of the main reasons why we foreigners like to visit your country that much. Thank you and greetings from the owners and Juulke the dog (The Netherlands).

Mr H,

Very well equipped cottage and comfortable beds. Excellent location for accessing centre of Halesworth. .We have enjoyed our stay though mostly with a keen edge to the wind

Past Customer,

All friendly, small independent shops in the town. All in all a perfect break- we are very much hope to come back next year, or sooner. Thanks again!

Past Customer,

We had a lovely calm and refreshing break in a lovely oldy worldly cottage in the middle of a lovely village in a part of the country we had not been to before.

Mrs Carolyn W,

We have had a very enjoyable week in Chapel Cottage. The cottage is very comfortable, attractive and well equipped. The weather has been mixed, beautiful sunshine on arrival to thunder and blustery time on Dunwich beach and Southwold Pier. We love this area and will return before to long for another stay in this delightful cottage.

Past Customer,

We've stayed at Chapel Cottage twice a year for over 5 yrs. The accommodation is of an excellent standard - always comfortable, cosy and immaculate.
