Description

This spacious, contemporary holiday home overlooks the sandy estuary beach in Instow and has a delightful balcony and decked patio. Sleeping 8 people over three floors, Corona enjoys estuary views towards Appledore from the majority of the rooms. On the ground floor, there are three bedrooms – one of which is en-suite – a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a small utility room housing the tumble dryer. Upstairs on the first floor, you’ll find the living accommodation. The spacious open-plan lounge/diner has superb panoramic views of the estuary and benefits from a large balcony which runs along the whole width of the house. With ample outside furniture for the whole party, this is a perfect place to enjoy the sunsets over the water at the end of an energetic day exploring North Devon. A modern kitchen with high gloss white kitchen units, is at the rear of the house and has a large dining table capable of seating everyone in the group. From the kitchen, patio doors lead out onto a spacious decked patio with outside dining table and chairs. On the second floor, there is a further bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite shower room. The pretty village of Instow is just a few minutes’ walk from Corona and has everything you could need for a relaxing break. A gentle stroll along Marine Parade will bring you to a wide range of family friendly pubs and restaurants and an award winning delicatessen.  The Tarka Trail, which follows the route of the old railway line is very close by and is popular with walkers and cyclists.  During the summer a small ferry carries passengers the short distance across the estuary to the fishing village of Appledore.

Reviews

Lovely situation, helped by having parking. Really comfortable property and beautifully clean. The housekeeper Jo was so helpful both prior to visit and with one small issue during our stay. Instow is a really good base for a holiday.

Mrs W,

Would certainly recommend this property but not if meant we missed out!

Mr F,

A lovely well equipped house in a beautiful location. We have booked to go again!

Mr C,

This is our second visit to Corona and would not hesitate to return again. however at 86 and 87 the jury is of course out. Instow features in the family history as my mother worked in the Post Office pre. war and father at Bideford Post Office. They met and married and I was born in Bideford in 1937 with the family moving to Exeter in 1938. Roy Huxtable (sorry for the family history)

Mr H,

Corona is a beautiful house in a great location. The house is modern, comfortable and has lots of space for you to relax, including two lots of seating areas outside. You get lovely views of the sea and a quiet beach is on your doorstep. You have the added bonus of parking for three cars too!

Mrs M,

We love staying in Instow and this property suits our needs very well.

Mrs C,

Well equipped & very clean property in an excellent location

Mr Christopher B,

Mr Malcolm W,

Miss J,

I have only used 1 of your properties so it is too small a sample to generalise a score
