Description

Christmas Cottage has all the right things in all the right places. Charming from the outside, guests will walk through the stable door and into a Tardis of space. As guests enter, they’ll be greeted by the cosy and comfortable living room complete with corner sofa and feature fireplace. Soft yellow and blue tones complement the cottages characterful features and create a relaxing environment. A period sash window looks out into the wonderful world of Southwold and provides the room with just the right amount of natural light. A good book can be enjoyed from the many books provided in the snuggly armchair as guests watch Suffolk go by.
The charming features continue through the downstairs of the holiday home in the very generously sized kitchen and dining area. A wonderful brick feature wall covers the gas hobs ventilation and pretty blue and white tiles line the worktops. A Belfast sink looks out onto the cottages private raised patio and an original tile floor is the cherry on top to an idyllic space. From the stable door in the kitchen, you will find the lovely patio area with modern garden furniture, which leads onto the long garden. At the bottom, guests will find the attractive pagoda where unspoilt views across Southwold Common can be enjoyed.
The upstairs of Christmas Cottage is just as charming as the ground floor. The master bedroom’s white iron bed complements the cottage’s vintage style. Guests can enjoy waking up to the smell of a dewy Suffolk morning as they open the bedrooms French doors that look from the balcony and out onto the garden and across to Southwold Common. A generously sized twin bedroom has two comfortable beds with high-quality linen and a charming sash window. On the same floor, a cosy bathroom complete with skylight and heated towel rail will ensure that Christmas Cottage’s guests are comfortable and satisfied each day of their holiday. On top of this charming holiday home’s wonderful interior, Christmas Cottage is in an ideal location for people wanting to explore Southwold without the worry of driving there. A short stroll will take guests to Southwold High Street which then leads to the beach, pier, and many more activities. Shop: 250 yards Pub: 250 yards.

Reviews

Lovely cottage and amazing ‘secret garden’. Kitchen spacious and very well equipped. Beds comfortable. Would definitely use again.

Miss W,

Christmas cottage was well situated with just a 5 minute walk to the town and a 10 minute walk to the beach. The cottage itself was lovely
