Reviews

Beautiful cottage set on a short drive through a wood. Spotlessly clean, bright accommodation perfect for exploring the surrounding area or just sitting on the patio being serenaded by bird song. Sue is a charming and friendly host, what more could you ask for?

Mr H,

The property was spotless with a lovely welcome pack on arrival. All fixtures and fittings were a good quality with a really comfy sofa and bed, it was great to get a good amount of starter logs we have been to so many properties and literally been left enough for a single fire. Kitchen is fully equipped and we wanted for nothing. Owner was very welcoming and the way the property has been done you do not feel you are in their grounds at all very well done and we will be returning later in the year.

Mr B,

The cottage was a perfect base. It was well-equipped, spotlessly clean, and peaceful but near the town. The owners are friendly, and provided a really nice welcome hamper. A great base if you're a walker, because you can walk out from the property.

Mr C,

A very well appointed cottage in a peaceful setting. Sue left a lovely welcome hamper which was much appreciated .It was lovely to come back after a day out and sit on the patio with a glass of wine and enjoy the bird song. Everything was as described in the website, the kitchen was well equipped so we could eat in if we wanted to. Sue was very helpful with suggestions on where to eat and places to go. All in all we had a lovely two weeks stay.

Mrs H,

We had a wonderful break at Beech Cottage with a much appreciated welcome package on arrival. Sue was an amazing host and ensured we had everything we needed. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Our second visit to Beech Cottage and it was just as lovely as the first. Great walks and lots of National Trusts to visit. Thank you Sue for the lovely welcome pack and brownies.

Sue and S,

Wonderful cottage. Thank you Sue. Thanks for hamper, really good week.

Previous Customer,

Beech cottage is a very relaxing place to stay, with lots of places to visit close by. Plenty of local amenities a short walk away and Hartley Farm shop only a short drive but well worth a visit. Visited Cloudberry restaurant and the Eight Bells pub both very enjoyable. The cottage was spotless and the welcome pack was much appreciated, the chocolate brownies which were homemade by Sue were scrumptious. Would definitely visit again.
