Description

This newly converted Linhay is located on the owners own working farm and offers stunning views across rolling countryside and nearby Golf Course. The property is all on one level with parking directly outside the front door so would suit holidaymakers of all ages and abilities. The open-plan design with large floor to ceiling windows allows you to enjoy the views whether you are watching tele on the comfy sofas or cooking dinner in the well equipped kitchen area. Two bedrooms, one king and one twin and a modern bathroom complete the set up which has been loving restored with large oak beams and under floor heating throughout. A 10 minute drive will bring you to the market town of Barnstaple, which offers a good selection of amenities including shops, restaurants, pannier market, museum, library and leisure center. If your coming for an active holiday, the Tarka Trail offers a scenic 32 miles of traffic free walking or cycling, it follows the route of the old Southern railway track and takes in some beautiful coastal and countryside scenery. Local attractions including The Milky Way, Big Sheep, Exmoor Zoo, and Combe Martin Wildlife park are all within an hours drive, in summary The Cart Linhay is an ideal spot to enjoy all the North Devon has to offer.

The Cart Linhay is a wonderful cottage - spotlessly clean, very comfortable and a beautiful view. It is well equipped and we immediately felt at home there. We loved the location as the property is in quiet countryside but only a few minutes from Barnstaple for shops, restaurants etc plus easy access to the coast and the rest of North Devon. We did not want to leave and definitely hope to visit again, highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our short stay. The property is very clean, well maintained, comfortable and has amazing views. Felt very homely and warm when we arrived back each evening. Lots to see and do in the local area. Welcome pack much appreciated, very yummy cream tea on arrival :) Would happily recommend and we will definitely be back one day ourselves!

Stunning cottage, lovely welcome pack of usuals plus milk, hot chocolate, scones, jam and clotted cream, exceptional. Everything you need, and amazing view. Great location with easy access to coast and Exmoor national park. Would recommend train journey from Barnstaple to Exeter with visit to Exeter Cathedral and museum. Had a very enjoyable week despite the wet weather. Would highly recommend

The Cart Linhay is as beautiful as it looks on the photographs; well presented, super clean and has everything you need for a holiday. The weather was freezing while we stayed but the cottage was really warm and cosy due to the underfloor heating. Location wise it was pretty perfect as just minutes from Barnstaple which has plenty of shops and restaurants, and also easy to explore other parts of Devon and beyond. The cottage itself is in a quiet location and we saw the most beautiful skies at sunrise and sunset from the huge picture windows. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

We had such a fantastic week at the Cart Linhay. The barn is beautiful. Immaculately clean, cosy and comfortable with the most stunning views. Everything has been thought about so well and the welcome treats were such a lovely surprise. It's in the perfect location to explore North Devon. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't on our side the week we stayed, however, there was so much to do right on our doorstep, it didn't stop us at all. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend!!
