Description
Burrows Retreat on the edge of Braunton is a well-furnished bungalow in a quiet location with a lovely mature garden at the rear. Sleeping four people and one dog, it also benefits from a spacious kitchen/breakfast room with patio doors opening out onto a decked patio. The light and airy living room has furnishings in soft, neutral tones which blend in well with the wooden floor; whilst the modern kitchen/breakfast room has bright white kitchen units with black work surfaces and a light grey tiled floor. Patio doors lead out from the breakfast area onto the decked patio and garden – perfect for evening get-togethers after a day on the beach. A hallway leads to both the bedrooms and the family bathroom. The master bedroom benefits from a French door leading out into the garden. Burrows Retreat is a 15-20 minute level walk from the centre of the village, which due to its size, is packed with amenities and attractions for all. Food and drink are never in short supply here and you will be faced with the enviable challenge of choosing which culinary delight to try first. Tempting Thai, Indian, Chinese, pizza, fish and chips and family friend pubs serving delicious home cooked food are all found within the village. For cultural enthusiasts the historic St Brannock’s Church sits proudly overlooking much of the village and you can enjoy a walk around the grounds. Braunton Museum is home to many interesting artefacts, whilst The Museum of British Surfing is an attraction also well worth visiting, packed with little surfing treasures past and present (only a small admission fee is required).
