Reviews

We had an amazing time in this picturesque place. The facilities were brilliant, the pod was very luxurious to pods I have stayed in and this one is special. The location is perfect, so quiet! and also private. I would recommend this place 100%. The pod owner was a perfect host. Communication was spot on, anything you needed owner was available and looked after us but also leaves you alone to enjoy your stay which was appreciated. Just could not fault the overall experience in anyway. Thank you very much

Mr S,

Amazing!! Made to feel very welcome and such a lovely welcome hamper. Cannot speak highly enough of the Pod and hot tub !!.

Mr F,

The reviews and the pictures do not do justice to just how amazing this place is. It’s the most perfect little place in the whole world we have been back a day and are already planning our next trip here and plan to do so a couple times a year every year.

Mr B,

Beautiful small cabin with everything you could need inside. Set in beautiful location with more than enough places to explore and experience nearby.

Mr H,

Absolutely lovely place! My partner and I booked it for a holiday get away and we weren’t disappointed. Close enough to drive to Snowdon, far away enough to enjoy the mountain view’s! The little town is superb, honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough. Let’s not get started on the Hot Tub… I wish I could have brought it home with me!

Miss J,

My partner and I had a fantastic 5 night stay at Caban Clyd in July 2023. The views were beautiful in every direction and there are a wide range of walks available right on the doorstep. The location is quiet and private but with local amenities just a 5 minute walk away. There is a lovely pub in the village called Y Llew Coch (The Red Lion) which we went to often for food - delicious, hearty meals (especially the Sunday roast!) and very friendly staff and locals. The pod itself is extremely cosy and very well equipped, and the hot tub was lovely after a long day of walking. Though we didn't meet Elen herself, we met her friendly husband who worked on the farm next door and we knew we could contact Elen for anything we might need. For those who enjoy a good climb but do not want the crowds of Snowden, we recommend Aran Fawdwwy (10min drive from Caban Clyd) - it is a difficult hike but stunningly beautiful and very quiet. We only saw 3 other hikers all day! All in all, we had a really lovely visit at Caban Clyd and would love to return in the future. Thanks Elen for having us :)

Miss F,

High score because of the incredible location and the high standard to which Cabin Clyd has been finished and is maintained. The host was thoughtful and available but not intrusive. We would be hard pushed to find a holiday better for our needs.

Ms Emily R,

Caban Clyd was in an excellent location, at an and competitively price and very well equipped. The owners had thought of everything you could possibly need and want. Booking was easy and and problem free.

Mr David D,

Very nice welcome pack on arrival. Information booklet filled with walks, places to visit. Caban Clyd had everything we needed, warm heating, TV, fridge, lots of cleaning stuff, lovely lighting around hot tub. Best of Wales need to update hot tub, outside pictures, as there is a cover built over hot tub with lights. So if raining, it's great. Very nice host..

Miss Eve J,

Everything about our stay was perfect. The little details, the way the owner had thought of everything. It was cosy, comfortable and had everything we needed. The views were amazing, the hot tub was heaven and the walk to the red lion pub was lovely and the food there was delicious. The locals were welcoming and polite xx

Miss Leanne F,

Beautiful place, beautiful location, 10/10 hot tub

Mr Charlie K,
