Reviews

Amazingly appointed property, owners are great and in a stunning part of Wales.

Mr C,

An absolutely fantastic, high-end cottage with everything you could possibly need for a luxurious, relaxing week - including your daily newspaper! The hot tub was really wonderful and super-clean, as was the cottage itself, and the owners were always on hand in case of any queries, but otherwise you wouldn't know they were there. This really is one of the best cottages we've ever stayed in and we would definitely book again if in the area. Thank you for a lovely, relaxing week in peace and quiet - just what we were needing!

Ms W,

A great time at Wisteria cottage, excellent facilities, friendly and helpful owners. As dog owners this cottage is wonderful, great local walks and a secure garden. Highly recommended!

Mr S,

Wisteria Cottage is beautiful and so peaceful. The owners are unobtrusive yet helpful and available if required. A great holiday experience and a great location if you have dogs.

Mr A,

We have just spent a week at the cottage, with our three dogs and despite it being a very wet week, the cottage was just what we needed to celebrate the new year and completely relax. The cottage is immaculate, decorated for Xmas was a lovely touch and had everything we needed, including welcome hampers for us and the fur babies! A lovely secure and secluded garden and hot tub an added extra at the end of the day. Brilliant hosts, would highly recommend and would love to return again to see the sunshine!

Mrs L,

Myself, husband and two teenagers stayed at Wisteria cottage for Christmas and we had the best time! The cottage is beautiful and beautifully decorated for Christmas, the fire and hot tub was lovely and the welcome gift basket and gifts for us adults, children and even the dog were a fabulous touch. Hubby hurt is back while there and the fabulous owners even provided us with a walking stick for hubby to help support him. The whole experience was just wonderful.

Mrs O,

Beautiful property, superbly equipped and maintained. Owners friendly and welcoming. Brilliant for dogs. Lots to do in the area, stunning walks. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Mrs S,

We had a lovely stay at Wisteria Cottage. The location is perfect for exploring and the cottage has everything you need to feel right at home. The welcome packs were generous and were really appreciated. The garden was fully enclosed so our dog could wander without us having to worry. I would really recommend Wisteria Cottage, it’s the best cottage we have stayed at. Thank you for a great holiday.

Mrs I,

If you are looking for a fantastically equipped and high standard cottage then this cottage is ideal for you. Having stayed a many self catering properties over the years this one truly stands out as being first class. The owners attention to detail and friendly welcome made us realise from the start of the week we were going to be vary happy there, with the addition of a properly pre-cleaned and regularly maintained Hot Tub being being the added bonus! The cottage is ideally located to explore the many attractions/towns in the area as well as the stunning coastline. In summary, there is nothing to fault the facilities or location and the owners go the extra mile to ensure your stay is the best it can be.

Mr S,

Had a lovely relaxing holiday. Beautiful cottage – modern and well equipped. A great base for days out walking/sightseeing. Lovely walk on the beach at Ynyslas. Thank you.

Mr Stuart W,

Thank you for a fabulous stay. Wisteria Cottage is wonderful as is hopping in and out of the hot tub. Great location surrounded by amazing local walks. The Hafod Estate is glorious, Elan Valley an easy but long day’s walk. The Silver Mountain experience was good on a wet day with the children. Would love to come again!

Mrs Jane H,

We have had a lovely week in this comfortable, well-equipped cottage. We have stayed in many cottages over the years and this is the best! Lovely countryside. Thank you for the fantastic Welcome Pack.

Mrs Barbara R,

Fantastic week, fantastic hosts! Dogs loved the secure garden. Walks were amazing. Location amazing. “Wisteria Cottage” Thank you!

Mr Jason H,

The cottage is lovely with a very warm welcome. We had an amazing week and have already booked for the same time next year!! The dogs thought the welcome packs were pawsome!

Mrs Sian O,

We have had the most wonderful stay in your beautiful cottage. We have stayed in many cottages but this is by far the nicest one, you have thought about everything! Your welcome packs are generous for both us and our dogs. Diesel was most impressed by there being a ball, in his eyes a ball is the best gift anyone could give him! We have been so lucky to have been here with such glorious weather and have been out every day exploring this beautiful part of Wales. Coming home to the hot tub every night was a treat! Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage, we leave feeling like we’ve had a proper holiday!

Miss Laura W,

It’s not only the “big” things that make this an ideal place for a break – the location is stunning, the peace and quiet, the lovely hot tub, the house itself – all brilliant! But it’s the “small’ things that really make a stay at Wisteria Cottage so special. Spotlessly clean, equipped with every utensil you could think of (and some you can’t!), the luxurious toiletries, the very useful tablets (read loads of magazines!) and the most delicious welcome hamper full of goodies that we’ve ever received at any holiday cottage! Add to that the comfy beds and you really can’t go wrong. Thank you for a lovely break.

Mrs Helena S,

Thank you both for the welcome hamper for us and the dogs, so thoughtful. The cottage is beautiful, fully equipped and the hot tub was amazing. We had many wonderful walks from the door and a short drive away. We will be back

Mrs Jacky A,

Wisteria Cottage is a lovely gem, well equipped and made a super, relaxing break. Wonderful walks and beaches. An ideal place to stay. Thank you!

Miss Madeleine P,

This is a beautiful cottage, if anything the website does not do it justice. Two lovely en suite bedrooms both with televisions. The kitchen was really well equipped every possible kitchen utensil. Totally secure garden for the dogs, which were welcome in the owners garden as well. And to end the day a soak in the hot tub, what more could you ask. The scenery in the area is outstanding, plenty of walks for the dogs, and several beaches nearby. The owners were both welcoming and recommended various local restaurants, the welcome pack was much appreciated. We had a great week in Mid Wales, look forward to our next trip.

Mr R,

Ms Jules S,

This is the best holiday cottage that we've ever stayed in. We have stayed in 5 star accommodation several times but nothing has ever been to this quality

Mr David O,

Fantastic weeks stay in this wonderful cottage. Sian and Jonathan were the perfect hosts and couldn’t be more accommodating. Loved the hot tub and fire after a long, wet day in this beautiful area. The cottage is so well equipped, we even managed to cook a mini Christmas dinner (in October!). One of the best places we have stayed in and will likely come back. Many thanks.

Mrs Lorna B,

Thank you for a wonderful week in your luxurious cottage. All the entertainment options, including the tablets, were much appreciated as was providing us with a camp bed to sleep downstairs with our ‘diva’ dogs. Really enjoyed regular dips in the hot tub and daily jaunts around the beautiful gardens which helped tire out our three hounds.

Mr Simon C,

Beautiful cottage – everything you need and a fantastic welcome hamper! Sian and Jonathan are so friendly – always on hand if need be. Visited many places from here: Devil’s Bridge and the Red Kite Feeding Centre to name a couple. Must mention the beach past Borth (Ynyslas) that we were told about – our dog had the best time! Hot tub 10/10! Could go on – thank you for our stay.

Miss Dianne R,

What a lovely weekend! Cottage is absolutely perfect and has everything you could possibly need or want. Beautiful location, Hot tub amazing. One of the best we have stayed in. many thanks.

Mrs B M,

Some features such as the entertainment provided (Readly, Sky, Netflix etc) weren't highlited but came as a nice surprise. The owners were so helpful with anything we needed. Thank you!

Mr Simon C,

The standard of this property is outstanding. Spotlessly clean. All furnishings of a high standard. The best equipped kitchen we’ve ever experienced! .Very warm, cosy but spacious property, secluded and peaceful. Secure garden for the dogs. Ample parking, easy access and turning. Lovely walks from the doorstep, but car needed for shops, pub etc. as kitchen was so well equipped we happily stayed in! Lovely owners, very respectful, on hand if needed but not intrusive. Very generous luxury welcome hamper and ample logs to light the fire daily. A home from home made for a very therapeutic stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
