Reviews

Spent a week here with my family and can only say what a wonderful decision it was to book this cottage! The location is good with the sea visible from the rear of the property and only a short distance from the town. The property itself was a home away from home, very well furnished and bright and airy with three very good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds. The kitchen has everything you could need and it was lovely to find things like coffee pods available for the machine! The lounge is comfortable with a modern Smart TV with freeview built in and Netflix available as long as you have your own log in! The WiFi speed was 100+ mbs and reliable with good coverage around the house so connectivity for the kids tablets, phones etc was spot on and fast! Lovely welcome pack too which was very much appreciated and the ultimate endorsement would be the view of a 5 year old who said he wanted to live there forever! A wonderful stay and we hope to visit again on the future!

Mr N,

The cottage was beautiful and spacious, and the decor made it feel like a home away from home. I will 100 percent be going again in the coming months.

Ms P,

There was only 5 mugs at the property we were a party of 6, the hedge was overgrown and had not been trimmed back to enable us to see the Seaview clearly, the oven had 1 shelf to cook on, the double bedroom door at the front of the property wouldn't close the element inside the door handle itself was obviously broken and therefore we had to put things behind the door to keep it closed.....also I fire safety requirement that has evidently been overlooked as each door should shut tightly given 30 minutes of 'safety' but the doors looked old. The gasman walked into the garden to fill gas tank.......didn't even acknowledge us as we were all sat in garden obviously knew people were at the property as there were 2 cars parked on the drive, so disappointing really.

Mrs Emma B,

Our view is that this is a quality property operated by a very helpful, supportive and communicative owner. It is most certainly amongst the best holiday cottages where we have stayed so far. We visited during Winter weather, so it could have been cold in view of the flat roof over part f the property, but the owner remotely set up a heating regime that worked really well for us. The property is easy to access and close to Pwllheli and its services, yet set back from the road which minimises road noise. It is comfortably and stylishly furnished and has a well-equipped kitchen and an attractive and highly functional bathroom. It would be an advantage to have a television in the bedroom/s but otherwise the owner seems to have anticipated almost anything the holidaymaker might need, and is always there to respond to any questions. We were sad to leave when we got to the end of our one month stay and look forward to revisiting in the future.

Mr Philip M,

Awelfryn Great week, lovely accommodation and views amazing. Particularly enjoyed the walks at Llanbedrog and the beach at Aberdaron. Thank you for the additional treats, the kids particularly loved their eggs
