Description

White Rock Apartments form part of a large Victorian house situated in an elevated position overlooking St Ives Bay. The property is in a quiet location within easy reach of the town and the beautiful sandy beach at Porthmeor. This light and airy apartment occupies the top floor of the building and benefits from parking to the rear and sea views from both the bedroom and living room.

Entrance through lobby to front of property, 15 steps to apartment entrance and 12 steps to hall/landing area with eaves storage.

Bedroom: With double bed, DAB radio and sea views over St Ives town across the bay to Hayle Towans.  En suite shower room: With shower cubicle, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC.

Kitchen/Lounge/Diner: With electric double oven and hob, fridge and washer/dryer. TV with DVD player, Sky TV and DAB Hi-Fi. The living area has a large window with a lovely sea view.

Power and Heat: Night storage heating.
Parking: Allocated parking to the rear of the property
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: None provided. Due to the steps and bedroom layout the apartment favours adults only.

Reviews

Very basic and in need of maintenance and refurbishment, but it was at least clean. The location in StIves is a significant draw but the shortcomings of the property meant that, for me at any rate, this was poor value. All round, a rather sad testament to what the tourist industry has done to beautiful places like StIves.
