Southwold Denes - Southwold Denes stretches from Gun Hill to the harbour's mouth and acts as a vital sea defence for the town. Suffolk Coasts and Heaths (to whom our customer's £1 booking donation goes) are working with several agencies to restore and maintain the area. And a very important area it is. It is the home of skylarks and little terns (please be careful not to disturb the nests) and the habitat of sea holly, sea pea and bird's foot trefoil to name a few. Our properties here enjoy the sunrise over the sea and stunning sunsets over the marshes.

Reviews

Very cute cottage in amazing location. Comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, good central heating and WiFi.

Mrs L,

This is the second time that we have stayed in this property and we love it. It's located just across the road from the beach and has easy access to the town and harbour. It's very comfortable and dog friendly too. We will definitely book again.

Mrs C,

The cottage was extremely well equipped especially the small kitchen. It was cosy and homely with everything we needed. The location was excellent. Yes it does need updating in places but the owners know this and are slowly renovating. There is building work next door and they started work at 8.00am, this could spoil some people’s holiday and should be noted.

Mr Phil J,

We spent 5 comfortable nights in this lovely, cosy beach house. Literally 30 secs from the beach and conveniently located mid way between the town and harbour. House was very clean and well equipped. We were sad to leave and would definitely recommend as it’s good value compared to other holiday lets in Southwold. We would definitely book again.

Mrs C,
