It has exceptional views of the sea from the front bedroom, and further views of the Common, across the grazing marshes towards the estuary and harbour with Walberswick in the distance. The property has a rear garden with panoramic views. Local amenities are all within walking distance. There is parking nearby and all in all, this property makes for a good seaside holiday. Southwold Denes - Southwold Denes stretches from Gun Hill to the harbour's mouth and acts as a vital sea defence for the town. Suffolk Coasts and Heaths (to whom our customer's £1 booking donation goes) are working with several agencies to restore and maintain the area. And a very important area it is. It is the home of skylarks and little terns (please be careful not to disturb the nests) and the habitat of sea holly, sea pea and bird's foot trefoil to name a few. Our properties here enjoy the sunrise over the sea and stunning sunsets over the marshes.
