Description

This traditional large 3 bedroom apartment, located in the highly sought area of Bayard's cove in Dartmouth offers you stunning views over the River Dart and out to sea. Accommodating up to 8 people, this property gives you the space and tranquillity for the perfect stay but yet in the hub of all Dartmouth's amenities including the famous Bayard's Cove Inn, just a stones throw away.  Enjoy the spacious layout in this apartment feel building with lots of charm and character and with the most mesmerising views!

 

Entrance Hall: Shoe cupboard, occasional table and glass fronted cupboard with a choice of children books. There is also a portable single z-bed for additional sleeping arrangements.

Living Room: Matching leather three settee, two settee and one single arm chair, a pouffe footstool, side table and lamps, coffee table, Panasonic TV with video/photo viewing, WiFi and DVD player.

Kitchen: fridge, dishwasher, microwave, gas hob with electric oven and extractor.  

Bathroom 1: Large curved walk in shower cubicle with power shower, WC, hand wash basin inset in a vanity unit, mirror and lights above and heated towel rail. 

Bedroom 1: Double bed (4'6) single bed (2'6) single comfort chair, two chest of drawers, large triple wardrobe with built in cupboard storage,wall mounted Panasonic TV and alarm clock. 

Utility room: Vacuum, clothes airer, Whirlpool washing machine and separate dryer.

Bedroom 2: Double bed (4'6) and sofa bed for two, matching bedside tables with lamps, large double wardrobe with plenty of hanging space and drawers, chest of drawers, wall mirror, TV with set top box.

Bedroom 3: Double bed (4'6), single wardrobe with lower drawer, chest of drawers, two bedside tables and lamps, wall mirror.

Bathroom 2: Bath with wall mounted shower, WC, integrated wash basin and vanity unit and mirror.

 

GARDEN AND PARKING:

Although there is no parking with this property, there is a parking permit available all year round at the Mayors Avenue Car Park in the Centre of Dartmouth although this does not guarantee a space especially in peak season. There is no garden with this property.

Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £350, which is payable to Original Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Power and Heating: Electricity included in rent, central heating throughout, heated towel rail in bathrooms.

Baby Equipment: Not available but may be hired locally.

Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels).

Shop: 0.3 ml  Pub: 0.1 ml.

NOTES: No smoking, 1 small dog, WiFi Available. Mobile reception varies.

Steps: There are 2 steps into the property from the street level and 3 steps in the hallway.

Please let us know if the sofa bed is required when booking.

Beautiful accommodation in a first class location. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but the walk to mayors avenue car park isn’t too far if you have to park there. The views across the river are amazing and the property is closer to the local shops, bars and restaurants than we realised.

We have stayed at the property previously so knew what to expect but it could do with safer knives as the handles come off, there’s no chopping board (eg for onions) and the fridge door doesn’t close properly. However my sisters and I love how spacious the property is, and the great location. We’re missing it already!
