Reviews

Great property, very well equipped - even with telescope and binoculars! Views are outstanding from the balcony, especially living room and the super large master bedroom! Just be prepared for quite a climb on foot if you choose to walk from riverside to the property, or you can pay to park in the marina car park. We walked it quite a few times and my 82 year old father managed it each time! Highly recommend a stay at Dartwood House.

Mr S,

'- Bottom bedroom v musty/damp smelling - Main bedroom far right window not working properly - 2nd bedroom overhead light not working and main bathroom light not working - Shower door in 2nd bedroom leaks - Airer leg broken a washing line outside would be very helpful - Dishwasher falls forward when opening it - TV incredibly frustrating as signal keeps dropping out - they have also started excavating/digging the plot next door which may affect future guests

Mrs Antonia W,

The properties facilities and cleanliness was not to the expected standard. The pictures certainly made it look a lot better than reality. Generally the property is quite ‘tired’, for example the patio furniture was in very bad order. The living room rug was grubby.

Mrs Rachel H,

A few things to fix, no spare toilet tissue, no instructions on how to use the TV and the 5 remote controls and finally not clear on what a "seagull proof container" looked like so had to guess it was a sack when we put the rubbish out. Great location although parking was a challenge for my SUV. The rest was excellent

Mr Grant L,

Location was lovely and the cleanliness of the property was very good but some of the equipment in the property was in poor condition and some even needed replacing

Mr Maurice S,

Comfort of the property downgraded purely because of the lack of heating. Although there was a log burner in the living room, cooking in a cold kitchen and eating evening dinner sat in a coat in a very cold dining room was disappointing. It was not our fault that the cost of heating had escalated since the booking was accepted and it shouldn’t be a surprise that England in March can be cold. Because of our circumstances we have to take our three week holiday in March, sadly, because in every other way we liked the property, we would be wary about rebooking Dartwood House for March 2024

Previous Customer,

Wonderful property with all amenities included, even logs and kindling for those colder nights. The views are breathtaking and everything added up to a fantastic week.

Mr U,

Just had a fabulous Christmas there would definitely book again ??

Mr Karen A,

A lovely location with fabulous views.
