Description

A fourth floor balcony flat, with lift access, on Rottingdean seafront and its undercliff walk.  Situated in an iconic Art Deco building there are oblique sea views to the west, so you will catch the colourful sunsets. Enjoy fish and chips or an ice cream looking out to sea. The olde worlde village was once home to Rudyard Kipling, Arts and Crafts artist Sir Edward Burne-Jones and author of National Velvet, Enid Bagnold. Visit St. Margaret's church and view some of Sir Edward Burne-Jones stained glass windows. Rottingdean now also boasts its own outdoor stage on the terraces nearby used in the summer.  If you like walking then Rottingdean is an ideal location to access The South Downs National Park or a more leisurely stroll along the Undercliff walk to Saltdean eastwards or westwards into Brighton itself, calling into The Marina with all its many shops, restaurants and other entertainments. You can take the bus into Brighton or the other way to Eastbourne if you don't want to drive. Shop: 0.1 mile, Pub: 0.1 mile, Coast: 0.1 mile,  Trains: 1.4 miles
