Reviews

Lovely cottage, great location, plenty of space. Well equipped and very comfortable.

Mr N,

A very cosy cottage in a superb position near the harbour. All amenities readily to hand.

Mrs W,

The property was very well positioned close to a very good supermarket and lovely views of harbour and xmas lights. Welcome pack very small and would have liked fresh milk as some of the uht sachets out of date..The beds were very comfy but couldn't close door due to possibly new carpet ? Overall a lovely place for a winter break and would come again especially as we didn't get the big storm we had hoped for

Mrs F,

Really well equipped, perfect location, would highly recommend

Mrs E,

Great location with comfy beds.

Mr S,

Nice place, great location, needs a bit of TLC, good walks from property, lots of good places to eat/drink, well stocked local supermarket

Mr Glyn D,

Great location - contained everything you could need - a lovely home from home in a beautiful little spot

Ms O,

Brilliant location in the brilliant Porthleven. We loved our stay and really appreciated the toys and books available to use.

mrs L,

Another great visit to Porthleven! Lots of nice walks with Milly. Her first visit here and she loved it, and we all enjoyed the cottage, very dog friendly. Hope to come back soon.

First visit to Porthleven - stunning! Beautiful weather, beaches and a home from home. Amelies very welcoming and dog friendly. Mousehole lovely village. Beautiful caves before Gunwalloe and recommend Barefoot Kitchen Cafe for a lovely coffee and ginger beer. Enjoyed it so much we are staying on a few extra days, don't want to leave.

It has been many years since we have visited Cornwall. I have loved our time in the cottage and the area. With the weather kind we have walked east to Church Cove and west to Runsey Head. Our favorite was Runsey an old tin mine. It was strenuous, but amazing. Our trip to Lands End took us to the Minnack Theatre, this is a must. Good food at the Ship Inn and The Atlantic. Thanks, we have loved it. Can we come back?

Thank you for a lovely week in your cottage. The weather has got better as the week went on. We loved St Ives, St Michaels Mount, Lands End (walk from Sennen Cove), Flambards fun Park (Isabelles Birthday!) and Lizard Point, ending up at Dollar Cove and Gunwalloe (National Trust) dog friendly! We enjoyed food at the Harbour Inn and Kota (Isabelles 7th Birthday again!). Miley loved the beach at Porthleven!

We have found our perfect place, well equipped and ideally located house. Cornwall is as lovely as ever, so many magic places - Church Cove is amazing on windy days. Our vote for the best pasties and good VFM - the baker at Marazion. We'll be back, don't change a thing!

We've had a very relaxing week here in Porthleven, enjoying the locality rather than driving far-and-wide, although trip to Levant Mine and St Ives were excellent. The local beach, shops, cliff walks and eateries have all been superb. Excellent pizzas from the Deli and great meals out at the Atlantic Inn, Ship Inn and Amelies. Best pasties were from St Just.

What a wonderful holiday - accomodation superb. Our first visit to Porthleven. What a beautiful place. Views from the cottage across the harbour are really breathtaking! Wonderful walks, lovely beach! Recommend visits to The Eden Project, and Trevarno Gardens. Not forgetting the superb Minnack Theatre at Porthcurno. Eating wise - the Ship Inn (superb Seabass), and The Atlantic Inn.
