Nestled in the heart of Reydon, The Headmasters House is just a short walk, or drive from the lapping shoreline at Southwold. The front door opens onto the open plan living area. With sitting, dining and kitchen areas all in the same ‘zone’ – you can truly socialise with all as you relax in your own particular way. One of the main bonuses with a stay at The Headmasters House is the ground floor bedroom with ensuite bathroom, perfect for those who may find a large number of steps daunting. Upstairs is an elegant double bedroom, a study and the second bathroom. All family members are welcome at The Headmasters House, including your four-legged friend! You’ll love going for dog walks down some of the numerous paths in the village, as well as along the Southwold promenade. Outside there is a lovely courtyard garden with two sitting out areas, a convenient boot and drying room plus an outside tap to rinse off muddy paws and boots. There is ample private parking off road just in front of the cottage. Although it is a modern property, Headmasters House has timeless appeal, thanks in part to its beautiful location which provides the ideal compromise between the buzz of a seaside resort and the relaxed pace of the countryside. Reydon is a short drive from the bustling streets of Southwold. Divided by Buss Creek (a narrow stretch of water) – you can either reach the town by road or by a gentle stroll along the numerous footpaths. The area is ideal for walkers, cyclists and photographers wanting to explore and discover this fascinating landscape.

Very warm, well equipped bungalow. Was surprised it was on a modern estate & not the cottage we expected. Bed was extremely hard. Nice little enclosed garden for the dog & very quiet area. Thought we’d be able to walk to beach but was 40 min walk - short drive though to southwold & other lovely villages/beaches. Drying room very useful. Well laid out inside & two bathrooms always nice.

Only downside was smoke detector beeping for the week day and night. We tried to stop it but as it was mains connected we drew the line at dismantling it. But we both fell in love with the cottage
