Reviews

Great central location just behind the High Street and within easy walking distance of everything. A real bonus to have the parking space next to the property. A lovely, quiet and brightly decorated property with lots of carefully thought out decor touches - we had everything we needed for our break away - this is a second visit and we hope to be back.

Mrs E,

The Hideaway is absolutely perfect for two people to enjoy a few days in Southwold. The location is perfect - right in the centre of town, but set back from the High Street so really quiet. The allocated parking space is a huge bonus in such a busy town - and the barrier makes it nice and secure. The apartment has everything that you could possibly need for a short break - we will be back!!!!

Mr W,

The apartment is in a great central location and benefits from a car park space. It’s light and airy in decor and has a nice feel to it. All kitchen equipment need is supplied so very easy to self-cater if choose. Nice welcome pack provided. Sadly we had to purchase our own bedding ( duvet, pillows, cushions ) to use while at the property as despite it being advertised as pet-free ( which implies no fur , hair, dander , feathers etc) the set supplied was all feather. This caused exasperation of asthma due to allergic reaction - brought to lettings / owners attention but no recompense offered for costs incurred. The apartment also has the most uncomfortable set of sofas - lots of references to that in the in-property guest book. So not the most comfortable of apartments to stay in.

Mr H,

The Hideaway was centrally located in Southwold and having a designated parking space so close to the centre of things was a real bonus. As we like to self-cater we found the kitchen well equipped and there was a useful welcome pack on arrival. A couple of nice pubs to have a drink in close by and some lovely coastal walks meant we had a good week even though the weather was chilly.

Mr C,

Excellent central location. Off street parking was great. Bed was comfortable. Sofas in the lounge were terrible (not comfortable at all). Style over substance. Shower was poor, flow was a dribble and not powerful at all. Many comments in the guest book about shower and sofa but the owners appear to have done nothing about it. Some simple changes and I suspect they would receive repeat bookings.
