Just had a fantastic week in this lovely cottage. The setting of the cottage is beautiful and very quiet with walks from the door. The cottage is very cosy and spacious perfect for spending quality time with the family. Would definitely recommend to others for a peaceful stay but close to lots of fantastic places to visit.

Lovely cosy cottage in a beautiful tranquil location. We appreciated the thoughtful welcome basket too! Despite stormy weather during our stay we were snug in the cottage. Garden was reasonably secure for dogs, unless you have an escape artist. Really enjoyed our stay - thank you!

What a fantastic cottage in a lovely area. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and greatly enjoyed. The kitchen was well equipped and I enjoyed cooking whilst looking out at the mountains. The garden was a lovely size for our dogs to have a play in, and the hot tub was just what we needed after a day of walking. Would recommend and we'll hopefully be back soon!

Lovely cottage, amazing location. We all loved sitting in the hot tub looking at the mountains and the wild life. North Wales has so much to offer we will definitely be back.

If you are looking to get away from it all but like home comforts this the definite place to be. Warm cosy comfortable isolated but close to the beautiful must see Snowdonia National park.

Idyllic cottage set in the base of the valley close to Aran Fawddwy with access to amenities only a short drive away. This property has everything you could need for a family get away, the welcome basket of local produce was greatly appreciated. The hot tub is a bonus after days out walking and cycling.

We had the most amazing time here. The location is outstanding, so so beautiful. Our kids don't want to go back home. Full of positive energy, we will miss this place gratefully, really hope to book for future visits. Thank you so much for the lovely gifts when we arrived.

Great location, peaceful retreat. Loved watching the birds, swallows, flycatchers, cows and lambs surrounding the location. It was very entertaining. Sunday Lunch at Brigands Inn was nice and dog friendly. Beautiful walks and if you dare climb the hill behind, there are some wonderful views at the top! Also if you want to go further afield mount Snowdon is a must- absolutely stunning. We are looking forward to returning, thanks for the welcome pack!

Fabulous week for our second visit in this beautifully situated cottage. Loved watching the lambs and calves, swallows and flycatchers feeding their young. Red lion has nice food. Did the same activity and loved watching the planes in the valley. Perfect weather for doing Aran Fawddwy and Cadair Idris and the views were incredible. Thanks for the welcome pack, see you again.

5th time down here! Completed a few lovely local walks, good walks around Coed y Brenin and thoroughly enjoyed a visit to Barmouth and Aberdyfi for the beach. We shall be back once again, thank you for everything.

Had the most amazing stay, and we can't wait to come back. The lambs were adorable and the hot tub was perfect after a mountain walk. Zip world and the Mach loop amongst the highlights. Definitely coming back!

Had a wonderful stay, I would love to come back. Spent plenty of time walking, whilst taking in the scenery. The views on all of the walks were lovely and our dog had a fantastic time. A special thanks to you, we also loved the games and the hot tub.

Cooker extractor good did not work Bed was uncomfortable Windows need cleaning &/or replacing Grass need cutting so we could clean up after pets properly Some of the kitchen utensils were not too good, but we were able to make do and we did thoroughly enjoy our stay and would consider booking the cottage again

This is the 6th time we've stayed at this cottage so that speaks for itself really! Fabulous location with views to die for. A real winter retreat with the log fire, range cooker and a hot tub. The basket of goodies left in the kitchen on arrival is lovely and full of welsh treats including yummy Welsh cakes. We can't recommend this cottage enough, thanks to host Mari for yet another wonderful week.

No complaints and very happy. There were a couple of minor electrical issues (cooker hood and bathroom mirror light not working) but nothing to take away the fact that the house was perfect for what we wanted. We won't talk about the weather, but the fact it was so bad made the facilities in the house even more appreciated!
