Reviews

The property was everything that could be expected

Mr Michael S,

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. After a rocky start due to the weather this was a fabulous substitute cottage. Thank you so much for offering it to us. The kids absolutely loved the hot tub and the sun shone for the majority of our stay. The cottage was warm and comfortable and the area and views were perfect. We will definitely be coming back.

Past Customer,

What a gem we have found!! In both the host and the cottage. Our week has been amazing. We booked last minute as wanted to get away and relax after being ill over Christmas. We can certainly say we have recuperated and re charged our batteries. Our daughter, boyfriend and mini Sausage dog spent a long weekend with us exploring Aberystwyth and Devils Bridge waterfalls. We can highly recommend the White Lion in Talybont for both food and a friendly welcome. The Sunday roast was fabulous !!The cottage owner was an amazing host and we will be telling our friends and family all about you and your fabulous cottages. We will definitely be back.

Past Customer,

Had the most relaxing week in this beautiful cottage. On arrival the cottage was beautifully decorated with a Christmas tree and decs, fire was lit up and it was so cosy. I visited as a child so it was lovely to revisit as an adult and reminisce. Devils Bridge is definitely worth a visit. Gorgeous countryside every where you drive, en route you ‘ll pass the Red kite feeding station - spectacular to see. The boys spent hours in the hot tub despite the weather. Thank you so much.

Past Customer,

This is our second time staying at the cottage and what a great time we’ve had. The cottage is located in a perfect setting and a comfortable drive to Borth beach and Aberdyfi. The Red Kites Visitor Centre is a true must and a great recommendation from the owner. It’s worth getting there earlier to have lunch, mooch around the shop and then watch the Red Kites being fed later - a highlight for sure! The hot tub and the log burner was very well used and made it a perfect holiday break. See you next year.

Past Customer,

Writing this with a heavy heart! We don’t want to leave this beautiful place. Thank you for such a warm welcome - your hospitality has been outstanding and appreciate your knowledge of places of interest to go to especially with Theo the dog. The cottages are a credit to you all. We loved the afternoon’s in the hot pub and have been blessed with good weather as well. Hope to see you again soon!

Past Customer,
