Description

As close to the image of a seaside holiday home as you'll get?

Certainly a well-loved holiday house, with amazing coastal and nautical memorabilia a welcoming house that's somewhere you're not afraid to kick off your shoes and relax. The owners have chosen cosy furnishings, quality bed linen and towels, toiletries, and an arrival tray to provide guests at Seacot with a warm welcome.

Well-equipped and functional, Seacot has that all-important feature - direct access from its enclosed gated garden to one of the best beaches Northumberland has to offer.
Beadnell and its sweeping bay, is popular with families and water sports enthusiasts alike, with its own boat launch, and sailing club which is popular with kite surfers and divers. The beach is wide and sandy, great to play with the kids, walk the dog, or do a bit of bird watching at the Trust Sanctuary.

Seacot is an ideal base from which to explore the further attributes of Northumberland, the tranquillity of the inland stretches of fells and moors which are ideal for walking - The Cheviots, St. Oswalds Way, St. Cuthbert's Way and Hadrian's Wall; the history captured in the county's large number of Castles and the roots of Christianity on Lindisfarne. Reviews

The cottage was really lovely, it had everything you could possibly need. The location of the cottage was great for walks on the beach and two pubs within walking distance. We would definitely go back

Mrs M,

What a little GEM this property is - it’s a little hidden treasure indeed - the beach is on your doorstep which we love!! Home is so spacious and comfortable - we will all defo be back! Thank you Christopher very much!

Mrs H,

Wonderful location in a really well equipped , spacious house with a nice garden. Very child friendly and feels like a well loved home - really nice furnishings and pictures. A minutes walk over to the sandy beach and a few minutes walk from lovely pebble beaches . We would definitely recommend and stay again!

Mrs F,

Seacot is in a fantastic location with the beautiful Beadnell beach just across the sand dunes, which may not be a suitable access for some people. The lane to the cottage has deep potholes so needs careful negotiating so as not to scrape the bottom of the car. The beds are comfy with cosy quilts but the cottage and soft furnishings, including bedding, are in need of a deep clean and some TLC.

Mrs J,

I have sent separate e mail to customer services stating why we dissatisfied

Mrs Michelle L,

Property couldn’t have been in a better location for children. Beds were the comfiest I’ve slept in. Everything we needed was there. Looks tiny from outside but is very roomy

Mrs Jean G,

The property was just perfect for all our needs and suited everyone within the party. The location with a back gate access to the sand dunes was ideal. The garden was great for the dog too. The house was well laid out with well thought out furnishings and nice and clean. The proprietor was very helpful and welcoming.

Mrs Elizabeth S,

Superb accommodation, fantastic location, all essentials provided making for a hassle free relaxing break

Mrs Tracey D,

The house was in an amazing location So close to the beach Very spacious bedrooms to accomodate our group. Very homely feel, we all felt very relaxed The room with the balcony such great views.
