Overstrand is an attractive village on the North Norfolk coast, a ramp leads down to a sandy beach, great for beach games or a swim. Take one of our favourite walks along the beach to Cromer and then return as the tide is coming in on the path along the cliff top, passing the lighthouse on the way. The village has a variety of shops and pubs, is close to Cromer with its award winning Pier, cinema and other facilities. The area is great for exploring the north and east coast beaches, walking the cliff path, various inland cycle routes and walks, and for visiting the nearby historic houses of Felbrigg and Blickling Hall both run by the National Trust. Overstrand is an oasis of calm in a busy world but the delights of Cromer and Norwich are only a short drive away if you are in need of some retail therapy.

Reviews

This was a perfect house for our extended family holiday and will remain a special place in our memories.

Dr P,

We had a lovely stay over Easter. Lovely location and very well equipped house. The majority of the house was very comfortable and well set up for children. The only downside was the damp feel and smell on the top floor despite adhering to the strict instructions to keep windows and doors open all the time.

Dr W,

Lovely property with everything you could need. Nice touches like towels, soap and sufficient toilet paper in all three toilets. Big fluffy towels appreciated. Pub The White Horse is dog friendly and very good food and helpful staff. The hotel Sea Marge is worth a visit for a special occasion. Great food in spectacular building.

Mrs Webley W,

This is a great cottage for a large family group. Big kitchen diner for socialising at meal times, comfortable beds and sea views.

Dr N,

We have spent a very enjoyable week in this spacious, well equipped house with fine views. We found the house spotlessly clean and wonderfully light and airy. So many interesting places to visit and lovely coastal walks. The excellent garden space was a bonus. We have tried several holiday houses over the years and this house has been a favourite. Many thanks. Ps delicious meal at Sea Marge Hotel - lovely staff, fab menu. Norfolk people are very friendly.

Debbie and f,

East Dene was in an excellent location, just outside Cromer, on the coast. It was comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed walking along the coast and catching the bus back as well as swimming in the sea. Lovely area and hope to return again.

Mrs H,

Interesting property with everything necessary for a comfortable stay provided. Great location with amazing views, and proximity to the beach much appreciated by the children.

Mr S,

Absolutely wonderful home from home, fantastic location and amenities. Everything was thought of at East Dene and we couldn't have asked for more in a holiday home. We loved it here and hope to return. Would definitely recommend.

miss J,

The property was lovely, but clearly had not been recently cleaned before our arrival as there were lots of cobwebs and lots of dead flies on the window sill in the main bathroom. The space, layout and location were excellent though as was the large garden.
