Sitting within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Langham is a delightful North Norfolk village with its local pub, pretty church, and brick and flint cottages. It’s also home to Langham Dome where you can journey back in time to the RAF days of World War II. Langham is an ideal base from which to explore. The saltmarshes at the neighbouring village of Morston are teeming with wildlife, birds and stunning coastal walks. Take a trip from Morston Quay to the seal colonies basking on Blakeney Point, or in the winter months to see the new-born pups. Discover the beautiful sandy beach at Holkham or the Blakeney National Nature Reserve with its huge horizons and pristine marshes. Visit the lovely coastal villages of Cley-next-the-Sea and Wells-next-the-Sea with a range of independent shops and galleries. Just inland lies the Georgian market town of Holt with its antique shops, galleries, boutiques and tea rooms, or take the steam train on a trip to Sheringham. Nearby Thursford houses the world’s largest collection of steam engines and is home to the annual Christmas Spectacular, whilst Pensthorpe Natural Park provides a great family day out at any time of year. The area is truly a year-round haven for families, bird watchers, walkers and sailors alike.

Reviews

Clean, well equipped property in a great location close to the coast and perfect for exploring North Norfolk. Great recommendations in the property from cider and wine tasting, walks, nature reserves to the hillside animal sanctuary all within a 20 mile radius. Plenty to do to suit all tastes. Would highly recommend this property.

Ms B,

Lovely spacious house. We were staying with our elderly mother, so the ground floor bedroom with en-suite was very helpful. Very well equipped with a large garden, it was an ideal base for us to explore the North Norfolk Coast, being just 2 miles from Blakeney. Would definitely use again.

Mr B,

Three years running so something must be right!

Mr W,

An excellent location for access to the North Norfolk coast and attractions in a very quiet area. Very clean and well equipped and fitted our needs perfectly with excellent communication at all times with the owners.

Mr W,

Very good location. House was immaculate, cosy and warm. Owner very helpful.

Mrs M,

A beautiful property, well located in a quiet village but close to the coastline and plenty of wonderful places of interest. The property was of a very high standard and well suited to our two small Bolognese dogs, especially the garden (we have found in the past that not all "enclosed" gardens are safe and secure for small dogs!) which was completely secure with wire fencing under the planted hedges, a real bonus. We would definitely recommend this property and have already booked again for next year!

Mrs M,

We loved the property. It had everything we needed and helped us to have a wonderful stay. We've booked with Original cottages before and always been happy with the property we have stayed in.

Previous Customer,

Mrs Jemma P,

Very clean, modern, spacious and comfortable property.

Mrs Sharleen T,

This was a great property for a three-generation family holiday as it had one bedroom on the ground floor with a wet room and a lovely enclosed garden. The location is convenient for the coast and the village has a pub within walking distance. Would highly recommend to others and would book again if in the area.

Mrs C,

The Beeches is a lovely property. It was beautifully clean and very comfortable. The large conservatory is an added bonus and as we were fortunate to have lovely weather we were able to make full use of it. I would certainly recommend this property..
