There is plenty of open countryside for walking, or to enjoy cycling the many quiet lanes in the area. In neighbouring Edgefield there is a good pub serving locally sourced food and drink. The cathedral city of Norwich is twenty miles away and is rich in history and culture. The beautiful north Norfolk coast is a short car journey away, explore the delightful traditional seaside towns and stunning beaches. For wildlife lovers the coast has plenty of places to spot birds and interesting wildlife – take a boat trip from Morston to Blakeney Point to see seals basking in their natural habitat or visit the Norfolk Wildlife Trust Visitor Centre at Cley Marshes where there are bird hides and a good café with views over the reserve so you can sit and bird watch with a cup of something in hand!

Reviews

We love this house and its location and were returning again for another stay.

Miss B,

Such a fab holiday had here. The property had everything we needed and more. The local areas of Holt, Sheringham, Cromer were great for walks, and The Pigs at Edgefield was great for dinner! Couldnt have asked for a better base to explore North Norfolk.

Kath W,

A lovely warm cottage for a chilly winter break. Highlight of the week was watching seals on the beach at Blakeney! Thank you so much.

Marc F,

A easy, characterful cottage. Made for a wonderful break away. My boys enjoyed looking for the deer that came to say hello when we first arrived.. We made lovely memories here. Really love your art choices too, very beautiful.

The A,

Lovely cottage provided us with a great base for exploring North Norfolk in a heat wave. Perfect spot for peace and quiet and to watch the local wildlife! thank you.

Phil C,

Lovely cottage in wonderful surroundings. The cottage is well equipped and provided a perfect back for us and our 2 children to explore Norfolk. Would recommend Sheringham and Cromer beach, although for a quieter beach closer by Overstrand is lovely. - just check the tide times if you want sand. Holt country park and then the town on a rainy day was lovely too! The kids both loved bewilderwood, thought pricey, bring your own food. Speaking of food The Pigs in Edgefield was yummy and had a good kids play area! All in all a fabulous stay in a beautiful location and wouldn't hesitate to stay in this charming cottage again. Thanks.

James R,

What a beautiful place to stay for Christmas! The home had everything we could have asked for and the location with wildlife was a huge bonus. We had lovely local walks in the crisp and fresh air. We have had a wonderful time here and will recommend to all friends and family. Thanks so much for letting us stay in this wonderful part of Norfolk.

Mrs M,

Wow what a fabulous home. We have made great memories here with the kids and will treasure this forever. The house was well equipped and had everything we needed for a great stay. The layout of the house is brilliant and works great with the kids. We especially liked Holt, Sheringham and Cromer for shops, restaurants and walks.

Susan P,

Such a great start to the new year, we were so pleased to have found this beautiful home and couldn't have asked for a better week here. The local area is peaceful and quiet yet close to the hussle and bustle of near by towns. We enjoyed a great Chinese from Holt so i would give that ago if you visit Holt. - We also loved shopping in holt too. Will certainly be back. Thank you!
