The Georgian town of Holt is a pretty town just inland from the north Norfolk Coast. Offering plenty of shopping opportunities it also benefits from having a good range of cafes, pubs and restaurants offering locally produced food and drink. On the outskirts of Holt is Holt Railway Station where you can pick up the Poppy Line and enjoy a train ride to Weybourne and Sheringham on a diesel or steam train – great fun for children and adults alike! Cley which is a short drive north is a pretty village with a windmill, art gallery, delicatessen and tea rooms. It is also home to Norfolk Wildlife Trust visitor centre, Cley Marshes Centre where you can sit in the café and enjoy panoramic views across the marshes or birdwatch from one of the hides

Reviews

Lovely large cottage in the perfect location, just a few minutes drive to Holt and the coast. Really well equipped - particularly the kitchen, comfortable beds (nice to have a superking in the main bedroom) toasty warm and every home comfort on hand. Super games room for the teenagers, and all the tech connections to keep them happy. Would be a good set up for two families, too. All in all, a great stay and would definitely recommend very highly.

Ms O,

Lovely barn conversion. Plenty of room for a family and dog friendly. Pleasant areas to sit outside if weather is good. It was nice and cosy on cooler days. Kitchen has everything you need and more, no lack of utensils, cutlery or crockery here!
