Description

Bay Cottage is a single storey detached property in a quiet area of Cromer yet only five minutes' walk away from the town centre and beach. The accommodation is well equipped and spacious with a cosy sitting/dining room with a wood burner and a spacious main sitting room. The private rear garden is ideal for al fresco dining and the off road parking is a boon at busy times of the year. This is a great property for a holiday no matter the season, ideal for families, friends or a couple looking for a little more space. Shops/Pubs/Restaurants: all within walking distance

Cromer is a delightful and traditional seaside destination, with numerous activities in the town itself. Try the pitch and putt, the boating lake, the treasure trail or the RNLI Lifeboat Station; take a stroll along the sandy beach, stop at one of the numerous cafes, tea rooms or restaurants and perhaps end your day on the famous Cromer Pier where there is always a show to see.  Close to hand seek out historical Felbrigg Hall, whizz round Karttrak or take life at a slower pace on the Poppyline steam railway. Amazona Zoo is close to the town, or a little further afield find the Norfolk Wildlife Trust Centre at Cley-next-the-Sea for marsh walks and bird watching, or take a trip from Blakeney harbour to see the seals at Blakeney Point.

Please be aware there is no WiFi and no basic essentials. On the plus side the cottage was spotless and very close to all amenities although in a very quiet area. Would recommend but with provisos.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bay Cottage. Very clean and the location was perfect as easy walking distance to Cromer town centre and beach. The garden is lovely too given the cottage is in a quiet location and not overlooked. Would definitely recommend.

The property was very clean and equipment supplied was of a high quality. It would have been useful to clearly state there is no Wi-Fi and that there is no condiments in the kitchen or soap in the bathroom. As a seasoned self-caterer we rarely see a property that doesn’t have some basics.
