Holly Cottage is the perfect, peaceful retreat from which a couple (plus dog!) can explore the quiet lanes and footpaths which weave their way through the beautiful countryside in this area.  This detached property, next door to the owner's home, is open plan and all on one level comprising a sitting/dining area, kitchen and double bed with ensuite shower.  The garden is enclosed and comes complete with a patio area with table, chairs and the all important barbeque, so you can enjoy relaxing and eating outside. If eating out is in order - the nearest pub is half a mile away - just the right distance to walk and work up an appetite!  Shop: 2.5 miles Pub: 0.5 miles.

The small village of Banningham lies between Norwich and the coast. There is an attractive old pub in the centre, with the market towns of Aylsham and North Walsham within three miles. The village offers a good base from which to visit many different parts of Norfolk including the beautiful coastline, the renowned Broads and the fine city of Norwich. Local attractions include fishing lakes and The Bure Valley narrow gauge steam railway, where cycle hire is also available.
