Great Ryburgh is a small busy community with a general store cum post office and a local pub that serves meals. The River Wensum flows through the village and national cycle route thirteen passes close by making this an ideal location for cyclists and walkers. Pensthorpe Waterfowl Park, as featured in BBC's Springwatch, is only a few miles away and the beaches and marshes of the Norfolk coast are a short drive making this area ideal for birdwatchers and anyone who enjoys the great outdoors. For those in need of retail therapy the market town of Fakenham and its racecourse is approximately four miles to the south east and Holt with all its pretty shops, cafes and restaurants is an easy drive away.
