The accommodation is upside down, with bedrooms and shower rooms on the ground floor and living space on the first floor, which captures the view across the lake and woodlands so well. For bird enthusiasts, the area, much of which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, has two dedicated bird reserves at Titchwell and Snettisham itself and the beaches at Heacham, Hunstanton, Brancaster and Thornham are all within easy reach. Farm shops abound in the area and make a special stop at Norfolk Lavendar in the next-door village of Heacham. Reviews

Amazing location and beautiful building. Would highly recommend

Mr P,

Snettisham Mill has been beautifully restored and is placed in a stunning setting. Dog friendly too. An upside down property that takes a few minutes to adjust to. The grounds and garden are vast giving the ideal opportunity to feed the numerous ducks that abound. The nearest and best pub, ‘The Rose & Crown, is a good fifteen minute walk away but well worth the effort. I would thoroughly recommend this property.

Mr H,

A well appointed, well equipped cottage with an interesting history. Plenty of facilities in the main part of the village, about a 10/15 minute walk. Only minor quibbles would be lack of a dishwasher for a property of this quality and a very small fridge although a decent size freezer! A redrawing of the kitchen could sort both points out.

Mr Peter M,

Good description of property, great location and dog friendly.

Mr Clive W,

Ease of booking, good communication and a comfortable and enjoyable stay. No laundry bags left out, but found a couple of bags in a bedroom drawer so used those.

Mrs Julia P,

Delightful cottage/ A great place to stay in the area.

Mr Christopher B,

Great location near to fabulous pub (Rose and Crown), exceptional bakers/cafe (the Old Store), walks, wildlife, etc .......... Historical interest, mill pond and grounds amazing, facilities very good.

Dr W,

Beautiful holiday home with a lovely enclosed garden, my dog loved it. Lovely dog walks, would come again.

Ms H,

We were a party of four, a couple and 2 singles, on a birding holiday and Snettisham Mill was perfect for our needs. The bedrooms were small but clean and bright and we found everything we needed in the lovely open-plan kitchen/living area on the first floor(even a beautiful home-baked Victoria sandwich on arrival!) The Mill is within easy reach of favourite birding spots at Snettisham and Titchwell and having waves of geese passing over the house at dawn and dusk was a real treat. We also made use of the the well stocked village Co-op and the excellent Rose & Crown pub, 15 minutes walk away. All in all, a really great spot!
