Description

Courtyard Cottage was originally a small brick and flint barn which has been ingeniously converted to provide comfortable accommodation for two people. It is only a three minute walk to Stiffkey Marshes and the coast path; the local pub, which has WiFi access and serves food, and the village stores - are also only a short walk away. The Coast Hopper bus stop is only 50 yards away so this is an ideal property if you wish to leave the car at the property. Shop/Pub: within walking distance

Stairs up to a Mezzanine Floor with a double bed, bedside tables with lamps, chest of drawers, small clothes rail.

The coastal village of Stiffkey is set in An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has one of the richest saltmarshes for wildlife in the country, providing excellent opportunities for both ornithology and walking. The sandy beaches at Holkham and Wells are just four miles along the coast and sailing is available at nearby Morston and Blakeney. Stiffkey has a shop and a pub which serves food, with further amenities available in the lovely Georgian town of Holt, which is seven miles away.

Reviews

Comfortable and attractive cottage which has a small living room which is not very light … but the sheltered courtyard garden makes it ideal in the spring and summer months. The coastal path is literally 6minutes walk away down the quiet road the cottage is located on.

Ms D,

Fantastic location for exploring the north Norfolk coast including amazing bird watching sites. This quirky property has everything we needed for our stay. Dog friendly but doesn't allow dogs up to the bedroom on the mezzanine floor.

Mrs C,

Excellent location - lovely little cosy warm cottage - secure courtyard for dog and hose pipe to wash dog’s muddy feet and our wellies was a very welcome touch. Great dog walks directly from the cottage door. Super little food and coffee shop just a short stroll from the cottage which was open every day and a lovely pub for breakfasts/lunches and evening meals also within a short walking distance. Ideal location for exploring the North Norfolk coastline and on the Coast-hopper bus route. Perfect for two adults and a small dog.

Ms C,

Snug and cosy for two people

Mr W,

Mr F,

Courtyard Cottage is well situated and offers a real home from home experience. We would love to stay again.

Mrs W,

Fantastic location, with stunning coastal walks a short distance from the cottage. The stylish village shop and pub were an unexpected bonus.
